Microsoft Edge Stored Your Passwords in Plaintext Memory
EdgeSavedPasswordsDumper is a C# tool that pulls every saved Edge password from memory in cleartext. No admin rights needed. It worked on Edge versions 79 through 147. In shared environments like terminal servers, attackers could silently harvest credentials from all users. Microsoft called it 'by design' and only patched it in version 148.
